Responsibilities: Cochran oversees the processing of invoices and travel reimbursements for coaches, staff members and teams. He is also involved with team travel logistics. He supervises three full-time and two part-time staff members in the positions of travel coordinator and administrative assistants for Olympic sports.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Cochran owned and operated a few small businesses, including a convenience store, laundromat, car wash, and an Allstate insurance agency.

Education: Virginia Tech, 1993 (B.S. in hospitality and tourism management).

Personal: Born and raised a Hokie in Christiansburg, Va., Cochran, wife Debbie, and daughter Grace live in Salem. He loves watching college sports and the NFL, playing golf and traveling to new places.
