Prior to Virginia Tech: Bolt worked for William M. Deemer Insurance Agency, Inc., before landing her position at Tech.

Education: Virginia Tech, B.S. in Marketing Management (1982)

Of Note: Bolt used to serve as a Hokie Representative and Hokie Club President for the Blacksburg Hokie Club before beginning her career at Tech in 1994. She was the H.M. McEver Award winner for the most active members as a Hokie Representative in 1989, the first year of the Hokie Representative program. She was the recipient of the Clifton Garvin Fellowship Award, August 26, 2002, a University award.
