Tech softball's doubleheader with James Madison postponed

Hokies will next welcome Pitt to Tech Softball Park this weekend

BLACKSBURG - Due to poor incoming weather, Virginia Tech’s 5 p.m. doubleheader on Wednesday against James Madison has been postponed.

The two teams will play the doubleheader at a later date. The Hokies will now turn their attention to Pitt, who will travel to Blacksburg for a three-game series beginning on Friday at 7 p.m.

On Saturday, the program will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 2008 Women’s College World Series team. Fans in attendance will receive 2008 WCWS pennants and will be treated to a postgame autograph session with the current Hokies and members from that historic team in attendance.
