Hokies travel to Durham, N.C. next weekend for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge

GULF SHORES, Ala. - Due to rain, Virginia Tech’s 11 a.m. game against 11th-ranked Alabama has been canceled.

The Hokies finished with a 2-2 record at the Sand Dollar Classic with wins over Penn State and Florida A&M and losses to 14th-ranked Ole Miss and a nine-inning defeat to Lamar.

Next weekend, the Hokies travel to Durham, N.C., for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge where they’ll play two game a piece against Penn State and Purdue.
