Weather alters Tech softball's Friday first pitch time against North Carolina

The series opener with the Heels will now start at 3 p.m.

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech softball team’s series opener against RV/RV North Carolina, originally scheduled for 7 p.m., will now start at 3 p.m. due to inclement weather in the forecast.

The first 100 fans will receive free Hokie Bird socks and the first 100 Student Hokie Club members will receive free hot dogs. The games on Saturday and Sunday against the Tar Heels will both start at 1 p.m.
