Hokies' midweek doubleheader with Western Carolina postponed

The two teams will play a twin bill on April 25 in Cullowhee, N.C.

BLACKSBURG – The Virginia Tech softball team’s midweek doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday at 4 p.m. against Western Carolina has been postponed due to weather. The Hokies will travel to Cullowhee, N.C. for a twin bill on April 25 starting at 4 p.m.

Tech returns to action this weekend at Tech Softball Park against North Carolina, who received votes in last week’s NFCA Coaches Poll and enters the week with a 21-5 overall record and a 3-0 mark in the ACC. First pitch time for the series opener is scheduled for 7 p.m. while Saturday and Sunday’s contests are both slated for 1 p.m.
