Weather wipes out the Hokies' Saturday doubleheader

Tech will face CSU Bakersfield and Southern Utah tomorrow

LAS VEGAS - Heavy rain in Las Vegas threw a curve in the Virginia Tech softball team’s Saturday evening slate at the Sportco Kick Off Classic.

The Hokies’ 9 p.m. contest with CSU Bakersfield has been postponed and moved to tomorrow at 6:45 p.m. EST. Tech’s 2:15 p.m. EST contest with Southern Utah will go on as scheduled.
