Hokies primed for Rainbow Wahine Invitational
Tech to play five games over the next four days

HONOLULU, Hawaii - The Virginia Tech softball team will begin play in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Wednesday as the Hokies look to build upon their 16-3 overall record. This is the program’s 20th season and will be Tech’s first games ever in Hawaii.

The Hokies open play on Wednesday against St. Bonaventure at 3:30 p.m. local time (9:30 p.m. Eastern) and then play host Hawaii on Thursday at 6 p.m. local time (midnight Eastern). On Friday, the Hokies take on Western Illinois at 3:30 p.m. local time (9:30 p.m. Eastern) and then play a doubleheader on Saturday, taking on Columbia at 1:30 p.m. local time (7:30 p.m. Eastern) and Hawaii at 6 p.m. local time (midnight Eastern).

Hawaii sits equal with the Hokies in terms of wins with 16 against nine losses. St. Bonaventure is 1-7, Columbia is 2-4 and Western Illinois is 5-5.

There will be a live feed for every game over the four days through Hawaii’s website.
