Registration now open for pair of December clinics
Camps to run Dec. 14 and 15
BLACKSBURG - Registration is now open for the Virginia Tech softball staff’s pair of clinics in December, designed to help youngsters continue in their development with the game. The first camp will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14 and will be for pitchers and catchers. It will run from 9-11:30 a.m., and then from 1-3 p.m. Lunch will be between the sessions, but is not provided. All pitchers must bring their own catcher (i.e. dad, brother, friend, etc.). They will not be charged and they will not be participating in the catchers’ clinic. Catchers from the clinic will catch for the pitchers sometime during the afternoon session.

The second clinic will be a day later, on Sunday, Dec. 15 and will be for hitters. It will run from from 12-3 p.m.

The registration deadeline is Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013 for both camps. Registration will be cut off prior to the deadline date if the camp becomes full. Registration will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The pitcher/catcher clinic costs $100 per participant, while the hitting clinic is $75. To attend both camps costs $150. The camps are for any female in grades 8 thru 12. For more information, call Coach Angela Tincher-O’Brien at 540-231-3063.
