Three more to join Hokie softball program
Group joins four signees from the fall

BLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech head softball coach Scot Thomas announced Thursday the addition of three additional players who will enroll at Virginia Tech in August and join the softball squad. Alyssa Clark, Toni Erwin and Liz Henry will begin their careers in the maroon and orange this season on the diamond.

“We’re really excited about what these three freshmen will bring to our program,” Thomas said. “Recruited walk-on athletes have always been a part of our program’s success and this group of women is no different. Each one of these players will compete for playing time or serve in a vital capacity within the landscape of our team.”

These three join the four fall signees - Elizabeth Birle, Vanessa Gonzalez, Cailey Isaacs and Aysha Richardson - who will also enroll this August.
