BLACKSBURG - Spots still remain for the Virginia Tech softball staff's pair of clinics in December, designed to help youngsters continue in their development with the game. The first camp will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 and will be for pitchers and catchers. It will run from 9-11:30 a.m., and then from 1-3 p.m. Lunch will be between the sessions, but is not provided. All pitchers must bring their own catcher (i.e. dad, brother, friend, etc.). They will not be charged and they will not be participating in the catchers’ clinic. Catchers from the clinic will catch for the pitchers sometime during the afternoon session.

The second clinic will be a day later, on Sunday, Dec. 9 and will be for hitters. It will run from from 12-3 p.m.

The pitcher/catcher clinic costs $75 per participant, whie the hitting clinic is $50 and they are for ages 14-18 years old. For more information, call Coach Barb Sherwood at 540-231-3063.

If interested, you must download the PDF forms to the right and fill out and then return with a check made out to Scot Thomas Softball Camps to the address on the form.
