BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech softbll program will hold a pair of intrasquad scrimmages this week at Tech Softball Park in preparation for its first fall tournament next weekend. The Hokies will break up and scrimmage at 3 p.m. on Friday and again on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Fans are invited out to catch a glimpse of the 2012 squad as the events are free and open to the public.

Tech will open its fall exhibition schedule next weekend at the Botetourt Sports Complex, playing four games over two days. The schedule can be found here. Also at that site is the spring schedule, which has been updated to include matchups in several of the early-season tournaments.
