High School: Played at Hickory High for Coach Ryan Wieck … A two-time all-state selection … Finished her career as the school’s all-time leader in hits, RBIs, doubles, home runs, batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage and total bases … Batted .492 as a senior with 33 RBIs, 23 runs and nine home runs … Helped lead the Hawks to the South Region title and a berth in the Group 5A state title game … A first-team Group 5A all-state selection … Named the Chesapeake Sports Club softball player of the year … Named first-team All-Tidewater, All-South Region (5A) and first-team All-PennSouth Conference … As a junior, was first-team All-Tidewater, all-region, all-conference and all-region … Named the conference player of the year after hitting .547 with nine doubles, five triples and three home runs … Honored as Hickory softball's Most Valuable Player her junior and senior seasons … Was first-team all-state, all-region, All-Tidewater and all-conference as a sophomore after hitting .455 with 12 doubles, three home runs and not allowing a single stolen base from her catcher position … Was first-team all-district and second-team all-region as a freshman after hitting .434 for the year … Also competed in track for Hickory … Played travel ball for Coach Tom Bunn and the Williamsburg Starz.
