Former Virginia Tech softball star and current professional player Courtney Liddle and the rest of her NY/NJ Comets will be featured live this weekend on ESPN2 as part of the National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) television package.
The Comets will take on the USSSA Pride out of Florida this weekend in Montclair, N.J., at Yogi Berra Stadium. Saturday’s game (2 p.m.) and Sunday’s contest (3 p.m.) will be carried live on ESPN2. Fans in the northeast can also catch the action in person for $10/12 dollars.
Liddle, from Haymarket, Va., recently wrapped up her Hokie career and has taken her talents to the NPF. She has two home runs, tied for third on the newly formed team.
