No. 37 Virginia Tech (15-6, 5-5 ACC) continue their string of home matches they host No. 41 Louisville on Friday, April 20th at 11 a.m. and No. 43 Virginia on Sunday, April 22nd at 11 a.m. The Hokies are winners of five-straight matches after defeating VCU 6-1 last Sunday and look to finish strong as they get ready for the upcoming ACC Championships. The Virginia Tech women’s tennis team (12-9, 3-9 ACC) host two top-five matchups this weekend as they get ready for No. 3 Georgia Tech Friday, April 20th at 3 p.m. and No. 4 Duke on Sunday, April 22nd at Noon. The last time out, the Hokies fell to No. 16 Miami 0-4 last Saturday. [Full Preview]

Virginia Tech (11-5, 4-2 ACC) Jumped up to 11th in the standings this week after a close 7-9 contest against No. 2 Boston College last Saturday. This weekend, in the Hokies final match of the regular season, Tech takes on No. 17 UVA in the Commonwealth Clash. The Hokies look to secure their winningest season in program history and the three seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament with a win. [Full Preview]

The Hokies (19-25, 5-12 ACC) welcome Duke this weekend in a three-game series over the weekend. The first game will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday. Tech returns for a noon matchup on Saturday, followed by a 1 p.m. start on Sunday. The Hokies look to bounce back after dropping a contest on Tuesday to Liberty. The Virginia Tech track and field teams split up for four meets this weekend, starting on Thursday at the Mt. SAC Relays and going through Saturday. Tech’s other three meets include the Duke Invitational, War Eagle Classic and Beach Invitational. Freshman pole-vaulter Rachel Baxter was named ACC performer of the week following the third best mark in school history after clearing a height of 4.30 meters (14 feet, 1.25 inches) at the Tennessee Relays last weekend. Stitch Intercollegiate at Macgregor Downs C.C. (Cary, N.C.)
The Virginia Tech men’s golf team heads to Badin Lake, North Carolina for the ACC Golf Championship Old North State Club, after posting a three-round total of 1-over 861 and finished in eighth place at the Stitch Intercollegiate at Macgregor Downs C.C on Sunday. The three-day event was played at the par 72, 7,003-yard MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary, North Carolina. [Full Preview]
Women’s Golf

ACC Championships
The Virginia Tech women’s golf team heads to Greensboro, North Carolina for the ACC Championships. Tech is coming off a fourth place finish at the Brickyard Collegiate two weekends ago April 8-10. All five Hokies that participated finished in the top 30 at the 78 player event. Elizabeth Boze, a junior from Norfolk, Virginia, tied for seventh individually with a three-round total of 222.
