The Hokies (11-5, 2-5 ACC) return home to face a pair of ACC foes following a win at Pittsburgh and a tough battle at No. 1 North Carolina. Tech leads Boston College 15-7 all-time and is 8-17 all-time versus N.C. State. Sophomore Natalie Novotna is currently ranked No. 66. [Full Preview]

The Hokies (12-18, 1-7 ACC) will host Notre Dame in a three-game series over the weekend. The first game will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday. Tech will return to the field for a noon doubleheader on Saturday, with the second game immediately following the conclusion of the first. The Hokies are returning from a doubleheader at Longwood with one win and one loss. Sophomore Taylor Clark captured her first home run of the season to kick off the scoring in the 5-1 win. She was the first of three home runs in the game, a new season-high for Tech. [Full Preview]

The Hokies (10-13, 4-5 ACC) will host No. 6 N.C. State in a three-game series that began on Thursday. They will face the Wolfpack at 4 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday. Tech is 43-21-2 all-time against N.C. State, holding a slight edge at home with a record of 13-12-1. During his tenure at Maryland, Coach Szefc faced N.C. Coming off its first meet of the outdoor season, the nationally ranked track and field teams (No. 12 men, No. 20 women) will split up this weekend and go to three elite meets – Texas Relays, Florida Relays and Raleigh Relays. The throws group will head down to the Sunshine State on Florida’s campus, the distance squad will go to NC State’s campus in the Tar Heel State and the rest of the event groups will go to the Lone Star State on the campus of Texas. The No. 17 Virginia Tech lacrosse team (9-4, 2-1 ACC) heads back out on the road as they travel to Louisville, Kentucky to take on the Louisville Cardinals at 1 p.m. on Saturday. This will be te Hokies third game in a row on the road. Their last outing was a narrow loss to No. 5 North Carolina. Senior Tristan McGinley scored four goals in the 13-12 loss, with fellow senior Emma Harden adding another three goals. McGinley and freshman Paige Petty have been included in Inside Lacrosse’s midseason All-American list.

Men’s Tennis

1 p.m. – Clemson

The Hokies (10-6, 1-5 ACC) will travel to Clemson, S.C. to take on the Tigers at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Tech is coming off an exciting 4-3 win over Georgia Tech on Thursday. With the match tied at 3-3, junior Jason Kros battled to win the clinching point in three sets on court two. Mitch Harper enters the match ranked No. 53 for Tech. The Hokies are 10-11 all-time versus Clemson. [Full Preview]

Women’s Basketball
Mar. 31 | WNIT Championship (Bloomington, Ind.)

Following a thrilling 64-61 win over West Virginia on Wednesday night in the semifinal round of the WNIT, Tech will head to Bloomington, Indiana to face Indiana in the championship game. Taylor Emery’s 3-point jumper against West Virginia with 30 seconds left ultimately sealed the win for Tech. She led all scorers with 23 points. Regan Magarity turned in her 16th double-double of the season with 11 poins and 11 rebounds. This will be the first time in program history that a team will head to the finals of the WNIT. The Hokies have faced the Hoosiers once before in 2013 as part of the ACC/B1G Challenge, where they lost 71-65.

Men’s Golf

The Virginia Tech men’s golf team will head to Augusta, Georgia this weekend to participate in the 3M Augusta Invitational. The event will take place Saturday and Sunday. In their last outing at the Furman Intercollegiate, Tech captured third place out of a field of 21 and finished with a three round total of 3-over 867.
