Women’s Tennis
Mar. 23 | Blacksburg, Va.
3 p.m. - Pittsburgh

The Hokies return home to face Pittsburgh at 3 p.m. in the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center after falling in a close 4-3 match against No. 49 Louisville on the road. Tech is 4-0 all-time against Pittsburgh. [Full Preview]

The Virginia Tech softball team returns home, looking to bounce back after dropping a three-game series in Tallahassee. The Hokies will face Pittsburgh in a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday afternoon. The second game will begin immediately following the conclusion of the first game. Tech will return to Tech Softball Park on Saturday at noon. Virginia Tech leads Pittsburgh 17-7 all-time and are currently undefeated against the Panthers at home. [Full Preview]

Women’s Basketball

2 p.m. - Alabama

The Hokies will host the Crimson Tide at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Elite Eight of the WNIT. Tech has now advanced to the Elite Eight for the second consecutive season. The Hokies beat Fordham on Thursday night behind Rachel Camp’s 20 points. Regan Magarity grabbed nine rebounds, breaking the program record for rebounds in a single season.

AWAY EVENTS

Track and Field
Mar. 23-24 | All Day
Weems Baskin Invitational (Columbia, S.C.)

Starting the outdoor season with both of its men and women ranked, track and field will head south to Columbia, South Carolina, competing in the Weems Baskin Invitational at Sheila and Morris Cregger Track on Friday and Saturday. The Hokies are No. 12 on the men’s side and the women are No. 20 in the preseason outdoor United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Top 25 poll, released on Tuesday. Tech is the only school out of the ACC to have both of its teams ranked inside the Top 25. [Full Preview]

Swimming
Mar. 21-24 | Men’s NCAA Championships (Minneapolis, MN)
All Day

Seven of the Virginia Tech men’s swimmners left for Minneapolis, Minn. for the NCAA Championships, which began on Wednesday. Preliminaries are at 11 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, followed by finals at 7 p.m. Friday will feature the 200 free, 100 breaststroke, and 3-meter diving. Saturday will feature the 100 free, 200 fly, 1650 free, and platform diving. [Full Preview]

Men’s Tennis

Mar. 25 | 12 p.m. – #26 Notre Dame (South Bend, IN)

The Hokies hit the road as they prepare to face ACC rivals Boston College and No. 26 Notre Dame. Tech will play Boston College at 2:30 p.m. at Boston College, then will travel west to face 26th-ranked Notre Dame at 12 p.m. on Sunday. Virginia Tech is 18-0 all-time against Boston College and 4-6 all-time versus Notre Dame. [Full Preview]

Men’s Golf

The Virginia Tech men’s golf team heads to the annual Furman Intercollegiate tournament this weekend in Greenville, S.C. The Hokies have won this event five times since 2000 and boast four individual titles. The tournament will kick off at 12:40 p.m. on Friday. [Full Preview]

Mar. 24 | 2 p.m. – Boston College
Mar. 25 | 12 p.m. – Boston College

The Hokies head north to Boston to face ACC rival Boston College beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. This is Tech’s second-straight road ACC series of the season. The Hokies lead the series 24-17 overall, including wins in the last five of seven meetings. [Full Preview]

Lacrosse
Mar. 24 | Burlington, N.C.
1 p.m. – Elon

The Virginia Tech lacrosse team heads south the Burlington to take on Elon at 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Hokies are coming off of a 22-7 win over VCU, extending their win streak to four games. Paige Petty and Tristan McGinley led the Hokies over VCU with five goals apiece.
