Virginia Tech 7 - James Madison 0

Virginia Tech returns home to host Eastern Kentucky and James Madison at Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center following a road trip to Alabama. The Hokies went 1-1 last weekend after dropping the opening match to Alabama, but bounced back to beat Penn State 4-1. Tech is 1-3 against Eastern Kentucky and 23-3 versus JMU. [Full Preview]

Swimming
Feb. 2-4 | All Day
Technotational (Blacksburg, Va.)

Virginia Tech returns home to host the Technotational. This three-day event will take place at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center, where Tech will host South Carolina, William & Mary, James Madison (women) and North Florida (women). Preliminaries are set for 10 a.m. each day. Finals will take place at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, culminating at 5 p.m. on Sunday. [Full Preview]

*Promo* - The first 100 fans at finals on Friday will receive a VT reusable bag. The finals competition on Sunday is Fan Appreciation Day, where fans will be able to choose from a multitude of different swimming giveaways.

Women’s Tennis

Coming off a 2-0 start to the season last weekend, the Hokies look to add another win to their record when they host Missouri at noon at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center. [Full Preview]

Men’s Basketball

The Hokies will look to continue their three game winning streak after battling to defeat Boston College 85-80 in overtime. Justin Robinson turned in his second double-double of the season and the third of his career, while simultaneously breaking the school’s single-game assist record (12) in ACC play. That win matches last season’s win total on the road in league action. Tech is 14-20 all-time against Miami, winning its last meeting 66-61 in Blacksburg. Both teams are 5-4 heading into Saturday's matchup. [Full Preview]

*Promo* - Fans are encouraged to wear white VT apparel to the game. The first 1,000 season ticket holders will receive a white VT shirt which can be claimed at the promotions booth near Section 1. A randomly selected student will have a chance to win $10,000 by making a half-court shot. Students must check in on the Gobbler Student Rewards app to be eligible.

No. 9 Hokies look to keep their winning streak alive after defeating Lehigh and Duke last weekend. Tech currently leads UNC 36-31-2 in all-time meetings. There is potential for as many as four ranked bouts with Tech’s No. 17 Solomon Chishko facing No. 6 Troy Heilmann at 149; No. 8 Zack Zavatsky vs. No. 17 Chip Ness at 184; No. 2 Jared Haught vs. No. 16 Daniel Chaid at 197; No. 17 Andrew Dunn vs. No. 18 Cory Daniel at 285. *Promo* - The first 100 fans will receive a VT Wrestling t-shirt. The first 75 fans along with the first 75 students will receive a VT tank. Virginia Tech Fraternities will participate in an arm wrestling competition before the match and the Student Hokie Club will be handing out pizza to students.

Track & Field

Camel City Invitational (Winston-Salem, N.C.)
Rod McCravy Invitational (Lexington, Ky.)

No. 16 track and field will split up once again this weekend, competing at three meets. For the second time this season, fans can watch the Hokies compete online. The sprints/hurdles group and thrower Pavla Kuklova will make the trek to Kentucky’s campus for the Rod McCravy Invitational, which will air live on the SEC Network +. The distance group will head south to Winston Salem, North Carolina, where it will compete at the Camel City Invitational inside JDL Fast Track. The jumps/multi-events and pole vault groups will head north to the Akron Invitational at Stile Athletics Field House. The last time out, the Hokies split up and went to the Liberty Kickoff and Bob Pollack Invitational. Junior Rachel Pocratsky set a school record in the 1,000-meter run and freshman Lisa Gunnarsson set a school record in the pole vault. [Full Preview]
