Tech athletics again accepting applications for Fan Focus Group

Group to provide insight on the fan experience at Hokie athletics events

BLACKSBURG – For the third straight year, the Virginia Tech Athletics Department announced that it is accepting applications for participants in the Hokies Fan Focus Group, a contingent made up of fans who assist the athletics department in the evaluation and enhancement of the overall fan experience at Virginia Tech home events.

This diverse group of fans will meet multiple times over the next year with administrators and staff. The goal of each meeting will be to allow athletics department officials to listen to the feedback of the members, as they express their ideas and suggestions. This year’s participants will join last year’s additions in providing input and advice on all things Virginia Tech athletics.

All fans are eligible to submit an application and may do so by visiting here.

All applications will be reviewed by members of the athletics department staff, with the goal of bringing together a diverse group of fans both in demographics and affiliation. Applications must be submitted by Friday, July 14, to be considered. Selected members will be notified by Friday, July 28, and will serve for the 2017-18 academic year (Aug.-June) beginning this August.
