BLACKSBURG – The Princeton Review came out with its annual college rankings Wednesday and the publication ranked Virginia Tech at No. 1 in both “Best Quality of Life” and “Their Students Love These Colleges.”
The Princeton Review is a college admission services company that offers test preparation services, tutoring and admissions resources, online courses and other various other resources for students. It has been in existence for more than 30 years.
Virginia Tech received the top score for “Best Quality of Life” and “Their Students Love These Colleges” among 381 colleges and universities nationwide. The university also ranked No. 4 in “Best Campus Food” and No. 7 in the categories of “Happiest Students,” “Lots of Race/Class Interaction,” and “Town-Gown Relations are Great.”

The Princeton Review surveyed 143,000 students from across the country to rate their schools on dozens of topics and report on their experiences. The company ranked colleges in 62 categories.
