Podcast, Notebook make debuts
August 1, 2007
BLACKSBURG - The Virginia Tech Athletics Communications Office, in conjunction with the Athletics Department and ISP Sports, announced Wednesday the debuts of two new features on hokiesports.com: hokiesports - the notebook and The Hokie Podcast.
The Hokie Podcast, presented by Foxridge Apartment Homes, will feature exclusive audio content, including interviews, game previews, talk show segments, and game highlights each week. The Hokie Podcast, hosted by ISP Sports' Bill Roth, is available free of charge and will be updated every Thursday during the academic year. There are three ways to enjoy the Hokie Podcast:
The Notebook will be an all-sports section where tidbits on current and former athletes, as well as other happenings in the Hokie Nation, will be posted. The intent is to provide readers with more behind-the-scenes news and notes that otherwise may not make the front page of hokiesports.com. Fans can also find a daily practice report from preseason football camp, as well as marketing promotions and other interesting items as they become relevant.
