Harper claims title at Milwaukee Tennis Classic

Tech junior will represent Hokies at ITA Nationals

MILWAUKEE – Mitch Harper closed out the weekend for the Hokies on a good note, winning the singles title at the Milwaukee Classic.

No. 122 Harper took it all as he defeated Felix Corwin of Minnesota. Corwin won the first set 6-4, but Harper recovered and won the second set 6-2 and third 6-3.

Harper’s win earns him a spot to compete at the ITA Nationals in November.
