Korsgaard advances to singles final at Wake Forest Invitational
Tech wraps up event on Sunday

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Virginia Tech freshman Henrik Korsgaard moved into the B2 singles finals on Saturday at the Wake Forest Invitational in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Korsgaard knocked off UNC Asheville’s Josh Swindler in straight sets with scores of 6-2, 6-2. He will face Campbell’s Nicolas Rakitin in the finals on Sunday.
George Cartledge also picked up a win today, defeating Troy’s Andy Lou 6-3, 6-2.
In doubles, Korsgaard paired up with Jason Kros in the back draw of the B2 flight to secure a win over Navy’s Matthew Lee and Greg Durham, 6-2.
The Hokies will wrap up the Wake Forest Invitational on Sunday with the final rounds of singles and doubles.
