ATHENS, Ga. – The Virginia Tech men’s tennis team wrapped up day two at the 49th Annual Southern Intercollegiates with three singles wins and a win in doubles, highlighted by Jai Corbett’s victory over 64th-ranked Alex Favrot of Clemson.
Corbett knocked off the Tigers player in the Division I flight consolation bracket, defeating Favrot with straight set scores of 6-4, 6-4. Favrot played the top of the line-up last season for the Tigers.
