Tech wraps up day one at ITA All-American Championships
Hokies back on the court Sunday

TULSA, Okla. – The Virginia Tech men’s tennis team wrapped up the opening day at the ITA All-American Championships with senior Aaron Gomez taking the court for the pre-qualifying rounds on Saturday in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Tech’s Gomez won the opening set 6-0, but faltered in the second to Nebraska’s Marc Herrmann, 6-3. In the final set, the Cornhusker player held on to win it 6-4.

Gomez will play in the consolation draw tomorrow.
