Hokies to wrap up the fall schedule at College of Charleston
Men's tennis will play its final fall tournament for 2013 over the weekend

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech men’s tennis team will wrap up the 2013 fall tournament schedule over the weekend, traveling to College of Charleston for the Last Chance Fall Invitational in Charleston, S.C.

Representing the Hokies on the weekend are freshmen Jai Corbett, Florian Nicoud and Nic Wilson and sophomore Rafael Ribas.

The Hokies were last on the court at the ITA Atlantic Regionals where Corbett and Nicoud paired up to advance to the semifinals of the doubles draw before falling to teammates 17th-ranked Amerigo Contini and Andreas Bjerrehus. Corbett also advanced to the round of 16 in the singles event.

The format for the Charleston tournament consists of four singles flights and two doubles flights with four competitors in each flight. In addition to Virginia Tech, College of Charleston and Georgia State are also competing in the event.

Friday will have a round of doubles followed by two rounds of singles beginning at 9 a.m.
