Lucas Oliveira and Marko Lovrinovic will represent the Hokies in Chapel Hill, N.C.

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Senior Lucas Oliveira and sophomore Marko Lovrinovic will represent the Virginia Tech men’s tennis team November 2-4 at the Big Jim Russell Memorial Invitational, hosted by the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C.

Oliveira and Lovrinovic will face individuals from host team UNC, East Carolina, NC State and Radford. A total of 24 players are entered into the field. Each day will feature 12 singles matches and eight doubles matches. Competition is slated to begin Friday afternoon at the Cone-Kenfield Tennis Stadium.

This marks the final non-qualifying event for the Hokies this fall. Tech will wrap up its fall slate next weekend when freshmen Amerigo Contini and Andreas Bjerrehus travel to the ITA National Indoor Championships for doubles competition. The duo qualified after winning the regional event.
