CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Sophomore Hunter Koontz picked up a win for the Virginia Tech men’s tennis team on Sunday during a rain delayed final round of the UVa Fall Classic in Charlottesville, Va.
Koontz competed in the black singles facing Binghamton’s Alexander Maisin in the finals of the back draw. Koontz took the match in straight sets with scores of 7-6(3) 7-5.
The Hokies will return to the court, Oct. 18-22 at the ITA Atlantic Regionals in Charlottesville, Va.
