TULSA, Okla. – Virginia Tech men’s tennis sophomore Mauricio Antun along with freshmen Andreas Bjerrehus and Amerigo Contini will compete at the 2012 ITA Men’s All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. beginning Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of University of Tulsa.
The Hokie trio will compete in the singles prequalifying draw and will be looking to advance into the qualifying rounds. Contini will face Martin Ayala of Texas-San Antonio in the opening round. Bjerrehus and Antun both earned byes through the first round.
Top collegiate players from around the country are competing in the nine-day event. Following the prequalifying rounds will be the qualifying rounds, Oct. 1-3. The tournament will conclude with the main draw rounds, Oct. 4-7.
