Tech set for Crimson Tide Fall Championships
Virginia Tech men's tennis makes the trip to Tuscaloosa, Ala. for weekend tournament
BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech men’s tennis team will compete in the Crimson Tide Fall Championships on Oct. 28-30 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
Along with the Hokies and host team Alabama, also competing are athletes from Ball State, Boston College, Chattanooga, Davidson, Furman, Kentucky, Louisville, Memphis, Middle Tennessee State, NC State, Samford, South Alabama, Southern Mississippi, Tennessee, Tennessee Tech, Tulane, UAB and Wake Forest.
On the court for the Hokies will be eight players including Lucas Oliveira, Mauricio Antun, Hunter Koontz, Trpimir Kujundzic, Zachary Pine, Marko Lovrinovic, Kevin Castellow and Jonathan Pine.
Matches will begin at 9 a.m. CT on Friday with the opening round of doubles, followed by the first two rounds of singles.
