BLACKSBURG, Va. – Several members of the Virginia Tech men’s tennis team will travel to Charlottesville, Va. this weekend to participate in the UVa Fall Invitational. The Snyder Tennis Center will be the primary site of the Friday-Sunday competition, with additional matches being played at The Dell and the Boar’s Head Sports Club.
Joining the host Cavaliers in this year’s field are players from Binghamton, California, Cornell, Davidson, East Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky, Elon, George Washington, James Madison, Longwood, Maryland, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Old Dominion, Richmond, VCU, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, William & Mary, and Winthrop.
Eight Hokies are slated to compete in the event: Pedro Graber (Santiago, Chile), Sebastien Jacques (Magog, Quebec, Canada), Lucas Oliveira (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Trpimir Kujundzic (Zagreb, Croatia), Zach Pine (Vienna, Va.), Leonardo Lapentti (Guayaquil, Ecuador), Adam Lawton (Las Vegas, Nev.) and Jonathan Pine (Vienna, Va.).
