Re eliminated at NCAA Championships
Tech senior falls in final career match

ATHENS, Georgia - Virginia Tech senior Yoann Re saw his college career come to an end Wednesday evening dropping an opening round match at the NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Singles Championships. The event is being played at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on the University of Georgia campus.

Re (Sr., Verdun, Quebec, Canada), ranked No. 55 nationally and an All-ACC selection, dropped a, 6-3, 1-6, 6-0, decision to No. 36 Boris Conkic (Tennessee). He concludes a very successful season playing at the No. 1 position. During the year, Re picked up victories over current No. 12 Eric Quigley (Kentucky), No. 27 Bruno Rosa (Rice), No. 31 Jean-Yves Aubone (Florida State), No. 67 Christopher Nott (Arkansas) and No. 69 Calin Paar (Nebraska). He concludes his Tech career with 82 singles victories.
