AUBURN, Ala. -- Virginia Tech’s men’s tennis team continued its’ solid play Saturday winning nine of 12 matches on the second day of the Auburn Spring Classic. The three-day event, including players from No. 46 Arkansas, No. 19 LSU, No. 28 Virginia Tech and the host No. 29 Tigers, is being played at the City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center.
The event is scored individually with no team scores counted in the official results. The Hokies, ranked No. 28 nationally, competed against players from No. 19 LSU on Saturday winning five of the eight singles matches and sweeping the four doubles contests.
