Hokies have successful day at Auburn Spring Classic
Tech takes seven of 12 matches

AUBURN, Ala. -- The Virginia Tech men’s tennis team had a successful opening the spring season winning seven of 12 matches on the first day of the Auburn Spring Classic. The three-day event, including players from No. 46 Arkansas, No. 19 LSU, No. 28 Virginia Tech and the host No. 29 Tigers, is being played at the City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center.

The event is scored individually with no team scores counted in the official results. The Hokies competed against players from Auburn on Friday winning five of the eight singles matches and splitting the four doubles contest.
