photo Thompson on Roca: Iggy has matured a lot physically after one year. He gained strength and put on muscle to his frame. This hard work paid off this summer when he played Davis Cup for Costa Rica and did exceptionally well. I think as he continues to mature mentally and physically, Iggy has enormous potential. I am certain he will come back to school focused and ready to compete for a spot in this years line up.

Fall 2005: Posted a 2-4 singles record and 3-3 doubles worksheet at the Rice/Crown Invitational and Liberty Alumni Invitational.

2004-05: Did not see action during the dual-match season ... Had a 3-5 fall singles mark and 2-3 in fall doubles in first collegiate action.

Junior Tennis/High School: Top-ranked 2003 Under-18 doubles player in Costa Rica and ranked No. 2 in Under -18 singles ... Played in 2004 Davis Cup ... 2003 Costa Rica National Under-18 singles champion and 2003 National Under-18 doubles winner ... Advanced to the doubles semifinals at the 2003 ITF Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela tournament and made the doubles quarterfinals at both the Valencia, Venezuela and El Salvador events.
