Thompson on Delgado: Nicolas is going to come to Virginia Tech and contribute right away. He has tremendous natural ability and a wealth of international experience. He was a finalist in the 18 and Under National Championships in Spain a year ago and he was recruited by many of the top schools in the country. Our expectations for Nicolas are high and I feel confident he is ready to deliver. He has a very powerful game and I think he will contribute high in our line up in both singles and doubles.
Fall 2005: Advanced to the Round of 16 at the ITA Northeast Regional ... Compiled a 5-3 singles mark with a 3-4 doubles record competing in the ITA All-American, Rice Crown Plaza and ITA Northeast Regional.
