John named to NSCAA All-South Region Third Team
Freshman continues to garner honors after successful rookie campaign
BLACKSBURG, Va. – Freshman forward Ricardo John was named to the NSCAA All-South Region Third Team as announced by the NSCAA office on Wednesday afternoon.
John, an All-ACC Second Team and Freshman All-ACC selection, tied for the team lead in points with 11 on the strength of five goals and one assist. Out of the five goals he scored, two were game-winning goals. John’s only assist of the season was on the game-winning goal against NC State.
