BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech men’s soccer team has announced the date of the 2013 Fall Prospect Camp. The camp, geared towards serious athletes in their sophomore through senior years of high school hoping to play Division I soccer at Virginia Tech, will be held on Oct. 19 from 10 a.m – 4 p.m.
The coaching staff uses this camp as a valuable recruiting tool as it has shown to produce future Hokies many times before.
From goalkeepers to field players, each camp attendee is put in a true Division I collegiate environment as every training session is ran by a current Virginia Tech coach.
The camp includes a technical session, a full training session, lunch, a recruiting seminar and small and full-sided games.
Due to the structure of the camp, space is limited so possible participants are encouraged to register as soon as possible.
Players can register at http://www.msoccercampatvt.com/vt_registration.
Players and their parents are encouraged to come to Blacksburg the night before camp (Oct. 18) to watch the Hokies take on the University of Virginia free of charge at Thompson Field at 7 p.m.
