Time change for men's soccer spring match versus American

Match now at 11 a.m. at Thompson Field on Saturday

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The match time for the Virginia Tech men’s soccer spring exhibition versus American at Thompson Field this Saturday, April 14, has been changed to an 11 a.m. start. The match was originally scheduled for 1 p.m.

The match against American is the first of three home exhibitions this month for the Hokies at Thompson Field. Tech also hosts Liberty at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, and its annual alumni match on Sunday, April 22 at 12 noon.

In addition, the Hokies will host the seventh annual VT World Cup this weekend. The World Cup draw is at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the Bowman Room of the Jamerson Athletic Center, with the tournament taking place all day Sunday, April 15.
