BLACKSBURG, Va. – Virginia Tech sophomore goalkeeper Kyle Renfro (Forest, Va.) has been selected as one of the 12 Primetime Performers of the Week as announced today by CollegeSoccer360.com.
Renfro, the ACC leader in saves with 81, recorded his third and fourth shutouts of the season last week. He made six saves in Tech’s 1-0 win over Wright State on Tuesday and had seven stops in the Hokies’ 0-0 double overtime tie with No. 21 Virginia, including a save on a penalty kick in the 65th minute to preserve the shutout against UVa. He has played every minute in goal this season for Tech and has a 1.13 goals against average.

The Hokies return to action tonight against Radford at 6 p.m. Tech then travels to Durham, N.C., to play Duke in an ACC match on Friday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
