Group includes Jim Cavanaugh and Ned Skinner

Certain Tech student-athletes and coaches will be speaking at the fourth Principles of Community Speaker Series that will be held Tuesday, April 12, at 6:30 p.m. in Torgersen Museum, 1100 Torgersen Hall.

The student-athletes will share some of the challenges they have faced and also highlight the best part of being a student-athlete. The coaches will remark on what they see as some of the challenges student-athletes face as well as some ways the university could be more accommodating.

The Principles of Community Speaker Series was developed as a way to provide the campus community more frequent facilitated interactions and dialog concerning diversity issues at Tech. The Principles of Community Speaker Series is sponsored by the Office for Diversity and Inclusion.
