Moyers, the fourth seed in match play, won his opening round match one up over Connor Walters of Salem. Moyers was one up after the eighth hole and stayed in that position until Walters squared the match on the 15th hole. Moyers birdied the par-5 16th hole and held on for the win. In the second round, Moyers was two up after the 12th hole, but Weston Eklund of Charlottesville and Radford University, won the 13th and 14th hole to square the match. Moyers won the 18th hole with a par and took the match, one up.
