Tip times for Dec. 28 games altered

Both men's and women's games changed to better accommodate fans

BLACKSBURG – The start times for the Virginia Tech men’s and women’s basketball doubleheader at Carilion Clinic Court on Dec. 28 have been altered.

The men’s game, originally set for 4 p.m. and moved earlier this week to 1 p.m., will now tip at noon. The women’s ACC opener against NC State, originally set for 7 p.m., will now tip at 2:30 p.m. These moves have been made to accommodate fans wishing to watch the Virginia Tech football game against Oklahoma State in the Camping World Bowl. The Camping World Bowl will kick off at 5:15 p.m. at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

Family 4 Packs are available for the NC A&T game. Those include four tickets, four Coca-Cola drinks and four popcorns from concessions for $40. Additional tickets also can be added for $10 each.

Tickets for both the men’s and the women’s games are available at HokieTickets.com. Fans that purchase a ticket to the men’s basketball North Carolina A&T game will be able to stay for the women’s basketball game against North Carolina State.
