Men's Basketball season tickets set to go on sale

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- Season ticket packages for the upcoming men’s basketball season are set to go on sale to the public through the Virginia Tech Athletics Ticket Office beginning Thursday, Oct. 5. Fewer than 1,000 season tickets remain following Hokie Club and returning season ticket holder pre-purchase.

Benefits from purchasing season tickets include savings over individual game tickets, the opportunity to purchase mini plans and single game tickets before the public, in-game recognitions and more.

Tiered season ticket pricing returns this season. There is limited availability remaining in the “High Post” ($475), “Top of the Key” ($400) and “Beyond the Arc” ($220) price levels. The “High Post” and “Top of the Key” require Hokie Scholarship Fund donations in addition to the ticket price. “The Paint” option ($550) sold out during Hokie Club and returning season ticket holder purchasing opportunities.

Based on availability, the following mini plans could be offered later this month. Mini plan on-sale dates are scheduled for October 24 for the Top 3 Hokie Club donor levels, October 25 for all remaining Hokie Club members and men’s basketball season ticket holders, and October 26 for the general public.

If available, the 5 Game Flex Plan will be $150 and consists of the following options:

Choose 1 of these games: UNC, Duke, Virginia or Louisville

Pick any 2 remaining ACC games

Pick any 2 non-conference games

The 3-Point Plan will be $100 and includes a ticket to the Virginia, Pitt and either North Carolina A&T or Presbyterian games.

Based on availability after season ticket and mini plan sales, non-conference single-game tickets will go on sale for $20 each. The on-sale dates are October 31 for the top three Hokie Club donor levels, November 1 for remaining Hokie Club members and men’s basketball season ticket holders, and November 2 for the general public.

December 12, 13 and 14 will be the on-sale dates for ACC single game tickets, based on availability. Those prices are set at $50 for UNC, Duke, Virginia and Louisville, and $30 for Pitt, Florida State, Miami, NC State and Clemson.

Student season tickets ($99) are on sale until October 26, or until student tickets sell out. The student season ticket includes admission to 12 of the 18 home games that fall during the semesters when classes are in session. Students may opt to add break game tickets to their season ticket package at the same time when ordering season tickets.
