Ticket availability for Hokies' NCAA Tournament games announced

Hokie Club members to get top priority

BLACKSBURG, Va. – The Virginia Tech Athletics Department has announced a plan for distribution of tickets for the Hokies’ upcoming NCAA Tournament first and second round games, to be played March 16-17 at the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y. There is a very limited number of tickets available and tickets will be sold until the supply is exhausted.

Beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 13, Hokie Club members in Group 1 can purchase available tickets. Beginning at noon, on the 13th, Group 2 members can purchase remaining tickets. At 2 p.m., Group 3 can purchase tickets.

Group 1 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Rank 1 – 50

If available,
Group 2 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Rank 51 - 100

If available,
Group 3 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. Rank 101 - 150

If there are tickets remaining following the first three groups, Group 4 will be able to purchase tickets, beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14. Group 5 can purchase tickets beginning at noon and Group 6 can purchase tickets beginning at 2 p.m.

Group 5 12 p.m.- 2 p.m. Rank 201 - 250

If available,
Group 6 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. Rank 251 – 300

In the unlikely occurrence of tickets remaining past Tuesday, any remaining tickets will be put on sale to the next groups beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 15.

As a continuation of the 2016-17 basketball season, all tickets will be filled utilizing the Hokie Club Point Priority ranking as of December 31, 2015. There is a limit to four tickets per account.

All ticket purchases will be subject to tickets remaining. Due to the short turnaround for tickets, all orders will be picked up at the venue. Individuals purchasing tickets to the first round event will be required to purchase tickets to the second round event if Virginia Tech advances. If the Hokies do not win, tickets will not be available to Hokie fans for the second round game through the Virginia Tech ticket office.
