The Virginia Tech men's basketball team hosts Miami on Monday, Feb. 27 at 9 p.m. The game will be shown nationally on ESPN2. This is the team’s White Out! Game.

THE HOKIES (20-8, 9-7)
The Hokies enter the game 20-8 overall and 9-7 in ACC action. Tech defeated Boston College, 91-75, in Conte Forum on Saturday afternoon. Zach LeDay led six Hokies in double figures with 18 points. Ty Outlaw added 16 points and Seth Allen had 15 points. Justin Bibbs scored his 1,000th career point in the game and Justin Robinson recorded his first career double-double with 13 points and 11 assists, tying a school record for assists in an ACC game.

THE HURRICANES (20-8, 10-6)
Miami enters the game 20-8 overall and 10-6 in league play. The Hurricanes defeated No. 10 Duke, 55-50, on Saturday afternoon in the Watsco Center. Davon Reed leads the Hurricanes in scoring at 15.2 points per game and Ja’Quan Newton is averaging 14.7 points per game. Miami is coached by Jim Larrañaga, in his sixth season in Coral Gables.

THE SERIES
The Hurricanes lead the series, 20-13. Tech lost the last meeting, 74-68, in Coral Gables on Feb. 8. Tech won the last meeting in Cassell Coliseum, 77-52, last season, when the Hurricanes were ranked seventh nationally. Tech is 7-6 in home games against Miami, all coming in Cassell Coliseum. Every game in the series has been played as either an ACC or Big East Conference game.

Up Next: The Hokies conclude the regular season on Saturday, as they welcome Wake Forest on Senior Day. The game, tipping at 4:30 p.m., will be shown on regional sports networks and heard on the Virginia Tech/IMG Sports Network.
