THE HOKIES (13-4, 2-3)
The Hokies enter the game 13-4 overall and 2-3 in ACC action. Tech lost to No. 20/20 Notre Dame, 76-71, on Saturday in Cassell Coliseum. Chris Clarke led the Hokies with 21 points. Seth Allen added 16 points for the Hokies.

THE YELLOW JACKETS (11-6, 3-2)
Georgia Tech enters the game 11-6 overall and 3-2 in league play. The Yellow Jackets defeated NC State, 86-76, in PNC Arena on Sunday night. Ben Lammers leads the Yellow Jackets in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game and Josh Okogie averages 14.8 points per game. Georgia Tech is coached by Josh Psstner, in his first season with the Yellow Jackets.

THE SERIES
This is the 23rd all-time meeting between the two schools. The Hokies lead the series 16-6 and have won the last two games in the series, most recently a 78-77 win at McCamish Pavilion last season. Virginia Tech is 8-1 in home games against Georgia Tech. Virginia Tech is 12-5 against the Yellow Jackets since the Hokies joined the ACC in 2004, including 11-4 in conference regular season games.
