Hokies return to Cassell to host Syracuse

The Virginia Tech men's basketball team returns to Cassell Coliseum on Tuesday night to begin a three-game ACC home stand, as they host Syracuse at 7 p.m.

THE HOKIES (12-3, 1-2)
The Hokies enter the game 12-3 overall and 1-2 in ACC action. Tech lost at No. 12/13 Florida State, 93-78, on Saturday in the Donald L. Tucker Center. Chris Clarke tied a career-high with 22 points, the most points he has scored in an ACC game. Zach LeDay added 19 points for the Hokies.

THE ORANGE (10-6, 2-1)
Syracuse enters the game 10-6 overall and 2-1 in league play. The Orange defeated Pittsburgh, 77-66, in the Carrier Dome on Saturday afternoon. Andrew White III leads the Orange in scoring, averaging 16.1 points per game. Syracuse is coached by Jim Boeheim, in his 41^st season at his alma mater.

THE SERIES
This is the 11th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Orange lead the series 8-2 and have won the last eight meetings in the series. Tech is 1-2 against the Orange in home games.
