The Virginia Tech men's basketball team returns to Cassell Coliseum on Tuesday night to begin a three-game ACC home stand, as they host Syracuse at 7 p.m.

THE HOKIES (12-3, 1-2)
The Hokies enter the game 12-3 overall and 1-2 in ACC action. Tech lost at No. 12/13 Florida State, 93-78, on Saturday in the Donald L. Tucker Center. Chris Clarke tied a career-high with 22 points, the most points he has scored in an ACC game. Zach LeDay added 19 points for the Hokies.
THE ORANGE (10-6, 2-1)
Syracuse enters the game 10-6 overall and 2-1 in league play. The Orange defeated Pittsburgh, 77-66, in the Carrier Dome on Saturday afternoon. Andrew White III leads the Orange in scoring, averaging 16.1 points per game. Syracuse is coached by Jim Boeheim, in his 41st season at his alma mater.
THE SERIES
This is the 11th all-time meeting between the two schools. The Orange lead the series 8-2 and have won the last eight meetings in the series. Tech is 1-2 against the Orange in home games.
