THE HOKIES (8-1)
The Hokies are 8-1 on the season. The Hokies defeated Ole Miss on Sunday. Ahmed Hill led the Hokies with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Zach LeDay added 15 points. Chris Clarke scored 12 points in the victory.
THE BULLDOGS (7-4)
The Citadel enters the game 7-4 on the season. The Bulldogs defeated Toccoa Falls, 144-94, in Charleston, South Carolina on Dec. 7. The Citadel is led by Zane Najdawi at 20.1 points per game and Quayson Williams at 14.1 points per game. The Bulldogs are coached by Duggar Baucom, in his second season at The Citadel.
THE SERIES
This is the 20th all-time meeting between the two schools and the Hokies hold a 17-2 advantage in the series. The last time the two schools met was on Dec. 20, 2014, as the Hokies defeated the Bulldogs, 64-61 in Cassell Coliseum. Tech is 9-1 in home games against the Bulldogs and 1-1 in Cassell Coliseum. Tech is 154-64 all-time against schools currently in the Southern Conference.
