Multiple ticket options available for upcoming games

Wide variety allows fans to choose the right plan

BLACKBURG, Va. -- The Virginia Tech Athletics Department has announced multiple options for the purchase of tickets to upcoming men’s basketball games. The ticket choices include upcoming games against The Citadel (Dec. 17), Charleston Southern (Dec. 20) and UMBC (Dec. 28), all in Cassell Coliseum.

Faculty/Staff games – A select number of complimentary tickets are available for Virginia Tech Faculty/Staff members for upcoming games. Faculty/Staff can claim tickets at the Cassell Coliseum ticket window beginning two hours prior to tip time. Each Virginia Tech ID allows for two tickets; up to four Virginia Tech ID’s can be used at one time. Tickets will be located in the student section areas of Cassell Coliseum.

Games are: Saturday, Dec. 17 vs The Citadel (1 p.m.), Tuesday, Dec. 20 vs Charleston Southern (9 p.m.) and Wednesday, Dec. 28 vs UMBC (7 p.m.).

Hokie Kids Club games – Hokie Kids Club members (children in the 8th grade and younger) can claim complimentary tickets to the games against The Citadel and UMBC. Members must claim their tickets in advance of the game, using the unique promo codes sent to them in early December. Parents must purchase tickets and may do so at the same time as claiming the complimentary tickets online.

Student-For-A-Day – Stay up late, sit in the student section, wear a Cassell Guard t-shirt, make lots of noise, and act like a Virginia Tech student for this ESPNU-televised game! $10 tickets are on sale using the promo code “STAYUPLATE” - enter the code here: http://vthoki.es/tixpromo Seats are located in the student section behind the basket. This special ticket promotion must be purchased in advance of game day.

Coca-Cola Family 4 Packs – The plan is available for the games against Charleston Southern and UMBC. A minimum of four tickets must be purchased (Select “Family 4 Pack” from the ticket options) and include a game ticket, beverage and hot dog at the game. Quantities are limited, and should be purchased in advance of game day.

Single game tickets for remaining ACC games will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 10 a.m. The Duke game on Dec. 31 and the Virginia game on Feb. 12 have each sold out.
